Invasion Fest artist Daybreak provide their 'Top 5 albums of 2015'.

Melbourne’s Invasion Fest is fast approaching. Stretched across two stages at Arrow On Swanston, the event sees 17 of our best homegrown talent perform this December.

In the lead-up, Killyourstereo.com will run a daily series with the respective bands on the bill, as each offer their ‘Top 5 albums of 2015′. We continue with Perth outfit, Daybreak.

Operation Cunt Destroyer - Slam Before Time

Liam Webster (Bass): "Due to the heavy slooms, beautiful lyrics, groovy riffage and dirty humour, this would have to be my favourite release of 2015."

Sworn In - The Lovers/The Devil

Blake Pearce (Guitar): "Sworn In are the greatest band of all time."

Citizen - Everybody Is Going To Heaven

Shaun Cox (Vocals): "It’s creepy and relaxing at the same time. Makes you want to water the garden and kill your neighbourhood cat, definitely up there in the best releases of 2015."

Counterparts - Tragedy Will Find Us

Brodie Wilson (Guitar): "TFWU is a quality release. Every song has that "one" part that either kicks you in the teeth or hits you right in the feels. Counterparts blend melodic leads, hardcore riffage and sad boy lyrics that make every track memorable."

Darke Complex - Widow

Sam Warren (Drums): "Widow is a pretty diverse album that blends heavy instruments, screams, singing and rapping perfectly. It creates a really heavy nu-metal sound and it's dope."
