Just on the cusp of their next US tour, Volumes have parted ways with one of their vocalist, Michael Barr.

Barr was a part of the band from 2009 till now, and has sung and screamed on both of their full-length records, and the band's first EP, 2010's 'The Concept Of Dreaming'.

A statement about the group's line-up change can be found below, as well as their temporary vocalist replacement, Born Of OsirisJoe Buras.

"#‎VTEAM‬--while we are so fucking stoked about this upcoming US tour with Northlane along with Cane Hill and Coldrain, we regret to inform you that Michael Barr and Volumes have parted ways. Michael just was going in a different direction with his musical tastes and it just made sense to split now then continously force something that would hold everyone back. We wish him the best of luck with his future projects.

For this tour we are happy to have our good friend Joe Buras from Born of Osiris filling in on vocals and he is going to kill it with Gus on stage and the rest of the band. This is definitely a combination that you will not want to miss.

We have some great tours already lined up for 2016 as well as a brand new album that is scheduled to be out Summer 2016. The music that we have written/recorded thus far not only goes back to our original roots but experiments with some new flavor—we are focusing on the pure musicianship of the band that our long time fans came to appreciate us for.

With that being said we will be auditioning a new vocalist--if you are interested please send a video recording of you performing at least one of the following songs: Erased, Edge of the Earth, Up All Night or 91367. Send your video to the following email address: volumesvocals@gmail.com

we are looking for the next level performer that fits our vibe/image, is ready to tour internationally with an established team and ready to be part of an awesome atmosphere. Being from the Los Angeles area would be a plus. Again, send your demo to volumesvocals@gmail.com--if we are interested we will hit you back"

It'll be interesting to see who replaces Barr, and who would fit into the band's sound and vibe.
