Perth's best chaotic hardcore outift Statues have offered an update regarding what the future will hold for the group.

The outfit recently had their vocalist, Jayme Van Keulen (pictured middle) leave just last week. The remaining members will be forging on as Statues as this has happened before in the band's past. This young, Australian version of The Dillinger Escape Plan issued the following statement about their current status.

"It has been a very dynamic year for Statues. We released 'Together We're Alone' earlier this year, and the support and kind words we received from it were amazing and inspiring for all of us.

While it's difficult to manage when two members leave, anyone who knows the history of this band will remember that this exact scenario has happened before, three years ago.

So this is an announcement to say that Statues exist. We still love this band and what it's about, so we will keep going. There might be new faces, but the concept is the same.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck by us, we are so grateful.

Scott, Matt & John"

Hopefully the band won't fade into the background now and can bounce back from this with some new members to fill the big shoes now left.
