Perth's "Aggressive Nu-Hardcore" crew, Dropbears, recently released a music video for their newest single, 'Companion (This One's For Me)'.

The band wrote a little bit about the song, which originally dropped a couple weeks back, explaining the meaning behind the track.

"Companion is really just a love song but it's also a fire back at any higher power that tells you who or what you can't love. Whether it's male, female or both.

It's pretty stupid if you really think about it and embarrassing. We're not activist by any means but who are they to say who to love right? Pce"

'Companion (This One's For Me)' will more than likely come off an upcoming release. Speaking of which, their latest EP was last year's 'Elusive' and you and can find that release here.

Check out the new clip below. You can also stream and download the song, as well as two others, from their Triple J Unearthed page right here.
