Jonathan Vigil, vocalist of The Ghost Inside, has recently been attacked, in some twisted sense of irony, for his speaking out against violence at shows.
A tweet that the singer made way back in March of this year ("Fighting at shows sucks. It has always sucked and it will forever suck. Just stop") about crowd-killing and the excessive violence in and out of the pit at shows seems to be what the frontman believes the attack to be over. Vigil posted two Tweets about the incident since, both of which are below.
Saying this AGAIN, and not specific to any one city or any one person. Stop fighting at shows, it sucks for everyone.

The attack reportedly happened on October 24th, over the weekend before the band’s set in Reno, Nevada.
Update:
Vigil has since released a full statement (through AltPress) regarding the incident and how he'll always stick to his guns when it comes to this topic. Read it below.
