Iconic British metallers Iron Maiden have announced their return to Australia, with the veteran outfit unveiling May tour dates.

The band will perform on a headline run, which takes in five shows nationally.

The tour, which includes guests The Raven Age, coincides with the group's recently released studio album, 'The Book Of Souls'.

"It’s not just the legendary Iron Maiden status that automatically makes this album passable. It is the best of both worlds. All the things we loved about the mid 1980’s from albums such as Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave and Seventh Son, as well as the better material from post-2000’s Maiden are all present." - Killyourstereo.com album review.
