US outfit Modern Baseball have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour.

US emo-revivalists Modern Baseball have cancelled their upcoming appearance in Australia.

The band was scheduled to play the Poison City Weekender next month, as well as a string of other East Coast dates with Iron Chic.

In a statement, which they posted on their Facebook, frontman Brendan Lukens explained his struggle with mental health, and noted that "it's time to put everything else aside to focus on making steps towards positive mental health". He added that Modern Baseball "promise to make it to the UK and Australia soon".
