Thy Art Is Murder slam their way into overseas charts

Not only are Thy Art Is Murder cracking the charts over here with 'Holy War', but the band are also making an impact overseas as well.

The Blacktown quintet's third album made history recently when it debuted at number 7 on the ARIA Charts when it was released late last month. That's a big first for an extreme metal band. As for their success overseas like in America, the band hit #82 on the Top 200, #43 Current Albums, #6 Independent Albums, and finally, #3 on Top Hard Music Album charts.

It also helps that the band were on tour in America with the mighty Whitechapel just prior to 'Holy War' dropping.
