Coheed and Cambria release new song

New York contemporary prog rock aficionados Coheed and Cambria have unveiled a new track from their forthcoming album.

Killyourstereo.com reported over the weekend, the band was preparing to release a new song.

Subsequently, Coheed and Cambria are streaming 'You Got Spirit, Kid' online (listen below).

The aforementioned track will feature on the band's forthcoming studio album, 'The Color Before The Sun', which marks the group's first non-conceptual release.

"I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record. I've always said in the past that there's never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it," frontman Claudio Sanchez states.

'The Color Before The Sun' is due out October 9 via 300 Entertainment.
