Thy Art Is Murder have bested the success of their last album, 'Hate', with their new album 'Holy War' hitting #7 on the ARIA Charts.

Thy Art Is Murder have bested the success of their last album, 'Hate', with their new album 'Holy War' hitting #7 on the ARIA Charts.

'Hate' debuted at number 35 on the ARIA's back in 2012, which made them the only extreme metal band to crack the top 40. You can read our review of 'Holy War' here, in which we stated that 'With ‘Holy War’, Thy Art Is Murder have served up yet again one of the best metal albums in recent memory.'

The quintet have stirred up a bit of controversy with the graphic music video for the titular track of their new album (you can find that below). They also recently conducted a fan generated interview, and you can watch their responses here.
