PVRIS guitarist, Alex Babinski, has recently apologised for old, tasteless tweets that have recently surfaced.

However, the tweet, which belittled the seriousness of rape, (exact tweet: "Rape is just a word used by white girls who don't know how to have a good time"), was posted way back in 2011. Most of what you post online can still be found today, yet it’s a little unfair to assume that he hasn’t changed since he was much younger. Regardless, Babinski made this brief statement about, stating that he merely “paraphrased a comedian’s tasteless jokes on Twitter”.

Even singer Lynn Gunn has come under some fire from old Tweets as well.

Is it unfair to scrutinise something they said four years ago? Yeah, maybe. Is it unfair to assume they haven't grown up since and just straw-manning them? Also, yes.
