Through an update on social media, Sydney’s Stories have announced they have (finally) finished up their new album.

In the announcement, the quintet revealed that the album is ready to be pressed and shipped (with a full release date expected soon), and they also announced their new full-time bassist as well.

"Hey guys, we just want to let everyone know that as of last night we finally have our completed album, finished and ready to be pressed for you all to hear.

Our sincere apologies again for being pretty quiet on our social media pages over the last good couple of months. Getting this album to where it is now has been one of the biggest and most difficult tasks we've ever had to face as a band, but we've come out of it having learnt so much and with an album that we are truly proud of.

Thank you to everyone for being so patient through this time, we can't thank you enough for your concerns and understanding.

We would also like to announce our new bass player - Luke, who has recently joined and will be rocking with us from here on out.

With the record finished, we will be back to playing more shows and with new music for you all to hear over the next month or two. Thanks for sticking with us and keep an eye on our page as we will have lots of news coming soon."

The band recently opened up a show on Architects' headline run in April, in which punters heard a lot of the new material from the new full-length (which will be released via UNFD).
