After releasing a new single a couple weeks ago, Stepson have announced the details for their sophomore EP, 'Echoes In An Empty Room'.

The band's second EP drops on June 11th, a follow up to last year's 'Broken Bottles/Drunken Hearts' EP, and was tracked by Callan Orr at Avalanche Studios. It was mixed by Beau McKee. A new track off the EP, 'Bruised' was premiered last night on Triple J's Short.Fast.Loud, so expect that to drop real soon.

You can check out the cover of the new EP, as well as the first single off it, 'TV' at the bottom of this post. Just below is what the band shared on social media regarding the new release.

"It is with great pleasure that we can share with you that our sophomore EP "Echoes In An Empty Room" will be released on Thursday June 11th!

Tracked over 8 days in Melbourne with Callan Orr of Avalanche Studios and Beau Mckee of Beau McKee Recordings, this record diversifies and expands on the influences from our last EP whilst introducing a bunch of new elements not found on our debut 6-track.

You can hear the opening track titled "Bruised" on Short.Fast.Loud tonight at 10pm, so make sure you tune in!

Big thanks must also be attributed to Georgia Sassenfeld Photo & Design for the artwork on the new record and Liam from The Paper Crane Music Group for his work over recent weeks in the lead up to tonight.

Preorders for "Echoes In An Empty Room" will be available next week with plenty more news to come xx"
