In what seems like a running curse for local bands who have just dropped new EP's, Set The Score have parted ways with singer Michael Romeo.

Despite leaving the band, the singer hasn't stepped out of the music field just yet with his other band, Transit Gloria planning to release their new EP in the near future. Below is a statement from the band about Romeo leaving:

"We're very disappointed to announce that Michael has decided to step down from the vocal position at Set The Score. Romey's work commitments have left him unable to keep up with our schedule as a band for this year and beyond. We are very grateful for the 3 releases that he contributed to our band and we wish him all the best for the future.

Michael has been singing in another band before joining Set The Score. They are called Transit Gloria and you should all suss them now. They recently released a new video for their track 'Expectations' from their upcoming debut EP."

This seems to be a running issue with local bands releasing EPs and having their vocalist leave right after (I, Valiance anyone?) or in Sierra's case, the band actually breaks up.

The Melbourne pop-punk upstarts released 'Render Me Useless', their debut EP, last Sunday (March 22nd) through Shock Records. You can  grab a copy of it from the band here, and check out its lead single below.
