Local Canberra rockers, Hands Like Houses, have dropped the music video for their brand new single, ‘I Am‘.
The band released the song (originally through Altpress early today) as well as a little statement regarding the video, which you can read below:
“On the road we’ve seen such an awesome collective of people connecting with music – on both sides of the barricade – but amidst it all there is so often a disconnect between the words being spoken and what’s being heard. ‘I Am’ is a challenge to artists and anyone with a platform – to be responsible and accountable in what you sing, speak and scream, and to those listening – to challenge what you hear, never be afraid to question, disagree or speak out, and to create your own inspired perspective.
I Am Dissonant.”
You can stream ‘I Am‘ below, and make sure you catch the post-hardcore sextet on tour with U.K. electronic hardcore heroes, Enter Shikari this May.
The band’s most recent EP, ‘Reimagine‘ is out now via Rise Records.
