US pop punkers State Champs have entered the studio to record their sophomore album.  

US pop punkers State Champs have entered the studio to record their sophomore full length.

According to vocalist Derek DiScanio's Twitter, 'Day 1 of 38 in the studio is complete'.

The band also snapped a photo from the studio and posted it on Facebook. You can check it out below.

In other news, the five piece are set to drop their new music video for 'If I'm Lucky', directed by Kyle Thrash, on February 19th.

State Champs are just one of the bands on the Pure Noise Records roster set to release a new album this year. The US label has also announced full length releases scheduled for 2015 by The Story So Far, Four Year Strong, Hit The Lights and Senses Fail.
