Melbourne locals, Pridelands, have announced that their guitarist Liam Sturges and drummer Ryan Kuchel have left the band.

The now trio are still continuing on, and gave this statement via their Facebook page to update fans.

"2014 has been a year of big ups and downs for us as a band as also personally. We have faced many obstacles that have held us back from achieving our goals, but these obstacles have also slowly shaped this band into what it will be in the new year and beyond.

With that said, it is time to deliver the unfortunate news that our long time guitarist and close friend Liam Sturges can no longer be a part of Pridelands. Ryan Kuchel has also stepped down from his roll as our drummer.

Sturges has been a part of Pridelands since it's very beginning and we cannot thank him enough for the effort he has put in to help make this what it is today. Things change, but the friendship won't die.

We wish Sturges and Ryan all the best in whatever life brings them next.

On another note, we have been working hard behind the scenes to bring new music to you, keep an eye out for announcements on the release of our EP and new members joining the family shortly into the new year.

To anyone that cares about this band, we thank you for sticking by us and we will see you in 2015. That is a promise.

- Mason, Liam and Josh"

The band released this new single earlier this year, and you can check it out below.
