Chiodos guitarist Thomas Erak has stepped down to focus on The Fall of Troy and 'home life.'

Thomas Erak, the guitarist of Michigan post-hardcore band Chiodos, has left the band.

Erak tweeted that he has stepped down to focus on The Fall of Troy's 'new album and home life.' According to Erak, "they got an awesome replacement and will rock" for upcoming shows.

The musician had replaced previous guitarist Jason Hale. His departure from the band comes after they lost other members earlier this year. Derrick Frost and Matt Goddard left the band in September. Prior to that, singer Craig Owens rejoined the band, taking the place of Brandon Bolmer.

Chiodos are set to kick off their Australian tour this January. You can check out the details for the tour here.
