Inaugural two-day musical festival, UNIFY takes place this January.

The likes of The Amity Affliction, Northlane, In Hearts Wake, Thy Art Is Murder and more will converge on South Gippsland.

With tickets now on sale, we get the bands to answer some quick-fire questions for us, beginning with Aversions Crown’s Colin Jeffs.

What are you most looking forward to about UNIFY?

Good times and good company, I’ve never actually been to a camping festival before, let along getting to play one and hang with mates.

Three essential albums for any camping trip

I’m gonna go ahead and associate camping with partying, now if I’m partying I need 'Every Time I Die' - Hot Damn, 'Fight Paris' - Paradise found and I need 'Dead to Fall' - Major Rager, on repeat for about 5 or 6 times.

Essential items for the festival rider

Booze, lots of booze.

Which band member would have the best survival skills if stranded in the bush?

One of our guitar players, Micko, used to work in a camping store, he could probably run the festival he knows that much about camping supplies.

Which bands song will become the eventual anthem for UNIFY?

Hopefully Earth Caller

Best thing about music festivals?

Moshing in a raincoat, in the rain.

Worst mistake you can make at a festival?

Taping a bottle of booze to the inside of your leg and lining up in the sun for 2 hours.

Hypothetical: it’s 40 degrees and you need sunscreen. You can only obtain it if you trade in all the alcohol in your rider. Which do you choose and why?

Booze, I reckon I could fashion a mad head wrap out of some Aversions merch.

UNIFY tickets are on sale now via 24Hundred.
