Everyone from Blink-182, Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park, to Of Mice & Men and Attila, have all participated  in support of research and funding for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis - which is sometimes referred to as 'Lou Gehrig's disease'. Reportedly, almost 16 million dollars has been donated to the cause since these challenges started.
