Basement have returned with the release of their new song 'Summer's Colour,' which will appear on their upcoming EP, Further Sky.

The EP, their first release since 2012's Colormeinkindness, will be released on July 29 via Run For Cover Records. It features three tracks, one of those being a cover of Suede's 'Animal Nirate,' and will have a 'decidedly british flavour.Check out the track listing below.

1. Summer's Colour
2. Jet
3. Animal Nitrate

The band made a conscious decision to keep quiet about the release, and guitarist Alex Henery had this to say about it: "The only other thing is we didn’t really document it. You normally see bands posting images on Instagram or Twitter or whatever, but we just kept it to ourselves. We’re writing for us, so we didn’t think like we’ve gotta prove something or give something to anyone. We wanted to do it, we had the songs, it just made sense."
