Speaking on the Internet based program, the musician discussed his exit from the Bay Area deathcore band.

Hermida notes “things got ugly” when he left the band, with the singer previously getting into some “drunken fist fights” with bassist Mike Tiner.


“It got really difficult with getting booked on shows, working with several managers because we’d never take them seriously. There was a lot of shit talking going on behind the scenes. As much as we were a good draw, we could’ve become something a lot bigger with that little ounce of seriousness.”


“Our attitude towards the industry is what fucked us up in the long run. We cared more about the music than the agents and managers,” Hermida said.
