Local rockers Red Beard are currently in the studio recording their second release with letlive.’s Jeff Sahyoun and The Amity Affliction’s Troy Brady.

Today, we feature the progress and development of the new music as the band check in from the studio.

"This recording process has been such an amazing experience, we are living and breathing this EP,” Reece Buckley (Synths/Vocals) says.

Moreover, Brady himself has enjoyed the ambition and diversity shown by the band during this month's recording.

"Recording a band with no limits is both a blessing and a curse...they are not confined to any genre or ideal. This will be a record that no one will forget,” The Amity Affliction member affirms.

It has been a shared respect, with the group also benefiting from the recording experience.

“I have never enjoyed working alongside a producer so much, Troy really brings out the best in us all,” Michael McKiernan (Guitars/Vocals) offers.

A common consideration is tranfering the recorded versions into a live environment. However, as Red Beard asserts, the transition should be a smooth one.

"I am so excited to play these songs live. We are bringing a whole new level of energy to the table,” Tomi Sharp (Vocals/Guitars) says.
