Homegrown act Toy Boats have announced they'll release debut full-length LP 'Wedding Town' through Resist Records next month.

Originally started in 2009 as the primarily acoustic-based, solo endeavour of Byron Bay native Hugo Costin-Neilson, the album sees Toy Boats blossom into a rich, full-band sound that showcases the heartfelt indie rock aesthetics at their core.

To record 'Wedding Town', the band headed back to Melbourne's Three Phase Studios with enginer/producer Sam Johnson at the helm, who recorded 2012 EP 'Diamond Teeth.'

'Wedding Town' is due to hit shelves April 11 via Resist Records, vinyl pre-orders are up here. The band will officially launch the album April 18 at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, before heading out on a national tour with UK outfit Basement.
