Following the popular and amusing viral internet video, which sees scenes from The Wolf of Wall Street synced with the sounds of Meshuggah, a petition has been created to have Leonardo Di Caprio join the Swedish metallers on stage.

The video (see below) was shared across the internet this month (already receiving over a million views), with Di Caprio’s expressions in the chosen scene bearing a strong resemblance to the on stage facial gestures of Meshuggah frontman Jens Kidman.

Subsequently, a petition has been created via change.org, with the site writing:

Leonardo DiCaprio needs to fully embrace his newly found importance in the metal scene by joining Meshuggah on stage for at least one song. He must wear a suit, and everyone in the crowd must pound their chests.

You can sign the petition here.

In order to be successful, the petition requires 665, 939 signatures. So far it has only 727. Get signing.
