With Melbourne’s annual Push Over festival again to take place this Labour Day public holiday, Killyourstereo.com begins the countdown in a series of new features. With this year’s festival a “party” theme, each week leading up to the event we will ask various bands playing to answer questions relating to the aforementioned theme. Top three party tips

Get crazy. Your night can't go wrong…or can it?

Funniest party story

Well one I can tell is while we were recording ‘Notorious’ in Sweden, Fredrik and Henrik took us out for dinner and drinks. While moving from the restaurant to a club walking the streets of Gothenburg, all of us got pretty crazy and a car screeched up from no where and nearly hit me so I went to the window and shouted 'f%#k you" with my finger up at the driver like a pissed retard and walked off. Next thing I turn around and the guy I yelled at put a light on top of the car started a siren and yelled "Sluta" (stop in Swedish). I got arrested and 3 cop cars came with at least 6 officers. They took me to the outskirts of town and dropped me there as punishment to try get home from a weird industrial area but lucky for me they didn't know the studio apartment was on the street they dropped me on.

Party plan/tips for Push Over

Catch up with everyone & play our set, really looking forward to it.

Top three songs on a party playlist

California Love, Call Me Maybe, Changed the Way You Kissed Me. Sounds so lame but they are sooo good.

Three musicians (living and/or dead) you’d invite to a party

Corey Taylor, Tommy Lee, Dave Grohl.

Favourite bands you’ve partied with on tour

Had a really good time with Attila [and] Chelsea Grin

Current bands you wish you could party with

Slipknot, Korn, Asking Alexandria, which we partied a bit with but a solid night out would be good.

Three songs you’d HATE to hear at a party

Any three of our songs

Worst mistake you can make at a party

Get angry and get in a fight, worst idea for you and everyone else. I've definitely learned the hard way on that issue.
