Melbourne greeted us with 40-degree heat on Friday. We decided to hit the beach in Williamstown before the all age show at Wrangler Studios that afternoon. The water was perfect and we all forgot about the heat … and the sun cream. Matt looked like a tomato for the rest of the day.

We’ve played very few all age shows as a band so we weren’t sure what to expect. The heat hadn’t passed and the venue was basically a huge oven. The show went great however! Big thanks the all the people that came along and battled the heat!

We stayed the night with some mates, watched movies and Adventure Time, and, had a big breakfast / lunch, courtesy of Zach. Saturday was a big day for us – we had a photoshoot in the Botanic Gardens and finally met our label manager and booking agent. We had a nice dinner with the team before the show.

The 18+ show that night was massive! It was the last ever for our friends in Built On Secrets. We played to a full room and the crowd surpassed our expectations. We partied for a few hours before the drive to Adelaide at 3AM…
