ex At The Drive-In & Red Hot Chilli Peppers members create new band


Ex members from At The Drive-In and Red Hot Chilli Peppers have formed a new band called Kimono Kult. The band will release their debut EP, Hiding In The Light on March 4 via Neurotic Yell Records

The line up for the band is as follows:

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez – guitar, synths, strings
John Frusciante – guitar
Teri Gender Bender – vocals, guitar
Nicole Turley – bass, drum machine, trumpets, synths, backing vocals
Dante White-Aliano – guitar, synths
Laena Geronimo – violin, bass, trumpets

    Hell yes. Omar and John did some very cool work together in the Mars Volta so I can’t wait to hear this. Not that I believe it will sound very much like TMV…
