Animals as Leaders in the studio

American prog metal trio Animals as Leaders have begun the recording process of their forthcoming third album.

Drummer Matthew Gartska has commenced tracking his parts at Swing House Recordings in Hollywood, California. Production duties for the album are being covered by Adam "Nolly" Getgood of Periphery, whom the band will be teaming up with for a handful of Australian tour dates next January/February.

Following up 2011 sophomore LP 'Weightless', the album is expected to be released early 2014 through Sumerian.
