In news that will delight those who like some live music while they shop, Live Nation Australia and Scentre Group have teamed up for a new partnership that will bring Australian music back to Westfield shopping centres.

Throughout the spring and summer of 2023, Aussie stars such as Amy Shark, Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker and Thelma Plum will bring live tunes to a Westfield near you.

The first in-store performance of the series is hosted by the one and only Kate Ceberano, who will perform at the Westfield shopping centre in Doncaster, Victoria, on Sunday, 17 September. Her time at Westfield includes a one-hour appearance featuring a live performance, dedicated fan Q&A, and meet and greet for customers

Live Nation Australia will allow Westfield members to win tickets and VIP experiences to upcoming shows hosted by the touring giant. Some of the artists Live Nation is bringing down under in the coming months include the Jonas Brothers and blink-182.

Live Nation and Scentre Group’s partnership is just getting started, with more events to come in due course.

Greg Segal, Live Nation ANZ President of Brand & Marketing Partnerships, said in a statement via Mediaweek, “We’re excited to partner with Westfield to provide customers with a new opportunity to access some of their favourite local artists for free.

Rusanow continued, “We know music and live entertainment have the power to bring people and communities together, which is why we’re excited to be partnering with Live Nation to offer exclusive and free live music performances at our Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.”
