VIDEO PREMIERE: Valentina Brave – ‘Wildflower’

The latest release from Darwin-based artist Valentina Brave acts more like a short film than a music video.

The new clip for EP title track Wildflower takes viewers on an “unfolding dynamic journey of death and rebirth illustrating that, we move through many versions of who we are and the one we think we are in battle with, is most likely ourselves”.

The Wildflower EP itself – which drops tomorrow - was written over the past eight years in a small remote bush community in Arnhem Land and even feature the sounds of pieces of wood hitting a corrugated iron and kitchen sink.

It's a cathartic release for Brave, who channelled vintage rock, cinematic melodies and more into its four songs.
