After taking out The Triffid's Album Of The Year last night, Queensland indie rock artist Tia Gostelow has unveiled a new music video for Get To It.

Premiering today via The Music, the new clip captures the essence of the song well, which, as Gostelow described earlier this year, is about "not waiting to do things, not waiting until you think something is perfect, not following the norm and doing things on your own terms”.

"We shot the video on a Sunday on a quiet, suburban street in Chermside, with the idea that it was early in the morning and I was leaving a party,” Gostelow told The Music.

“It was shot on film and we had three takes to get it perfect, so spent the whole day rehearsing. The street seemed to have mainly elderly residents, who spend Sundays at their neighbour’s to have happy hour.

“We kind of interrupted that while shooting and they were all very curious, standing outside and offering us rum and cokes, and in the end, that ended up being in the clip."
