VIDEO PREMIERE: The Tiger & Me - Sleep The Night Alone

We're getting pretty excited about the impending release of The Tiger & Me's third album, but with a release date still yet to manifest, we're forced to leap on any new goodies that emerge from the Melbourne band's camp.

Not that that's even close to a chore — we're simply stoked to be premiering the clip for their sweet new single Sleep The Night Alone today, produced, directed and edited by Patrick Mason.

The video features some pretty slick choreography, provided by featured dancer Chris Bloom, of Ballet Hispanico, and pulses along nicely in line with the song's deeply luscious dance-pop vibes.

The tune was recorded by veteran, ARIA-nominated desk-man Steven Schram (San Cisco, The Cat Empire), and is being released on ABC Music imprint FOUR|FOUR, which also handled the band's previous full-length effort, The Drifter's Dawn. A key tenet of The Tiger & Me is their trio of lead vocalists, and all three — keyboardist Ade Vincent, guitarist Tobias Selkirk and violinist Jane Hendry — contribute to the single's lyrical utterances over the course of its infectious three-and-a-half minutes.

Not content to only gift us the one track today, the band have complemented their new single with a super-cool B-side When All The World Went Dark, originally written by Selkirk as an acoustic folk piece. Give it a listen below.
