The Brisbane band are barely pausing for breath before their busy next few months.

More The Mouldy Lovers More The Mouldy Lovers

Brissy folk/punk/ska ensemble The Mouldy Lovers recently returned from a tour of Japan, and they've documented the experience in the video for their eclectic and energetic new single Boondock, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

Featuring a mixture of live performance, scenic and just plain gleefully silly footage, the clip captures the highs and lows of life on the road in a different country, the band evoking excitement, wonder and exhaustion alike through their wide-ranging video diary, set to the song's eclectic, inviting tones.

The Mouldy Lovers aren't about to hang around the house for too long; they've got a stack of headline and festival shows around the corner, kicking off on the Gold Coast next Friday, 13 October, and carrying through to performances at south Brisbane's Bayside Blues Festival, Straddie's Island Vibe Festival and the Tablelands Folk Festival, and in Marrickville, Wickham, Canberra, Fitzroy, North Hobart and Launceston.

They'll round everything out with a triumphant homecoming at November's Jungle Love Festival, alongside the likes of Baskervillain, Fight Ibis, Golden Age Of Ballooning, Hemingway, Karl S Williams, Koi Child, Mezko, Nice Biscuit, Pink Matter, Sex On Toast and more.
