VIDEO PREMIERE: Street Pieces – ‘Cthulhu’

Cthulhu, as Aussie rockers Street Pieces describe, is the band’s “most ambitious music video to date”.

They wanted a film clip that matched the song’s big riffs and soaring vocals, so they locked down two locations (Bulimba Studios and Cabarita Beach) and unleashed everything they've got.

“We brought our live performance to Bulimba Studios and just added water for that heavy lurch like a sea-sick stomach,” Street Pieces told The Music.

“Then we got up bright and early to start at 4am down at Cabarita, and the next eight hours was Ben [Tilney, vocals] getting hammered by waves. It was great to have Jordy [Kapiotas, producer] on board for the clip, battling the elements directing and risking his gear in the waves."
