VIDEO PREMIERE: Sometime Sonny - 'Have A Heart'

With the release of Have A Heart earlier in the month, Sometime Sonny is venturing out further than his local Brisbane music community, earning fans across the country. And now, songwriter Dave Campbell, is back with a brand new video for the track, premiering today exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

The song itself reflects on the morning after a heavy night and the video follows in the same vein, drawing inspiration from the lyric "It's time to start again/I broke a pact I made with myself."

Campbell says the different iterations of himself are supposed "to show the continuous cycle of breaking promises and trying to improve that version of yourself".

"We also basically just wanted to create something visually stimulating and to match the climax at the end of the song," he said.

"It was filmed and 'scripted' by my buddy Thomas Calder (Trouble With Templeton/Daggyman)."
