Aussie songwriter Simon Robert Gibson is today debuting the music video for The Way You Look At Things, the third single from his debut album, right here on theMusic.com.au!

The Sydney artist and founding member of '90s outfit Disneyfist, directed the clip for the track which also features Alannah Russack (The Hummingbirds).

"This song takes my own personal idea of things that don’t go right giving you something to learn from," Gibson said.

"I guess the whole idea is one I’ve always had that came originally from what my grandfather wrote on my 21st birthday card: 'Experience is what you get, when you don’t get what you want.' I never really forgot that.

On bringing Russack on for the song, Gibson said, "Alannah is one of my oldest musical comrades and we're really good friends.

"I'm stoked she's on it. No one else but Lannie could have sung my song the way I wanted.”
