Randa & The Soul Kingdom return today with the official music video for their track Put Your Hands Up and we here at theMusic.com.au are stoked to bring you the exclusive premiere.

With director Caitlan O'Connor and director of photography David Le May at the helm, the clip, just like the song, is vibrant and infectious, beckoning us to the dancefloor.

"I wanted to write a song that would make you want to dance," Randa Khamis told The Music

"A song which tells you to put your hands up and get into it. There's nothing like performing a song live and seeing a mass of hands up in the air and everyone brought together as one!

"I wanted to put a song out that draws from my inspiration of funk and soul from the '70s and brings it to 2019 - our present time.

"Too often life is struggle, I wanted to write a song that lets you abandon the stresses and lets you celebrate music and your freedom to dance like no one's watching because it's your right. When you put your hands up in this song, it's about making a stand for your freedom to express yourself regardless of your age, race, gender, class. That's why you (hopefully) see this reflected in our music video clip. Dang, you've only got one life, let's just have a funk'n good time when and where we can."
