More Mazy More Mazy

Sydney alt rockers Mazy have embraced their horticultural side with a brand new music video, premiering right here with The Music.

Flowers sees the psychedelic three-piece get into the greenhouse to rock out amongst the flora and become the nature boys they were born to be.

Filmed and produced by director extraordinaire W.A.M. Bleakley, the vid as a race against the clock to get finished before the pandemic once again got in the way.

“We pulled this video together incredibly quickly before lockdown," Bleakely explained. "We had a tiny crew of three people and we came up with everything on the day – it was exciting to improvise like that. Mazy are hilarious and their care-free attitude comes across in the video. They are one of my favourite bands at the moment and I was stoked to work with them again.”

The band echoed the sentiment for the clip, adding, “We had an amazing time shooting this video. It was tough! The location was a picturesque small flower farm and was absolutely perfect for Flowers. We’ve worked with [Bleakely] before as he shot our last video for You Got Me - which we loved. Huge thanks to the talented, small and very hardworking team that put this all together."
