Aussie legends Mark Seymour & The Undertow are gearing up for the release of their tenth studio album, Slow Dawn, and we here at theMusic.com.au are rapt to be premiering the music video for the record's lead singleThe Whole World Is Dreaming, today.

The clip is, of course, recorded by the band in self isolation and Seymour told The Music that they initially never intended to deliver the track as a specific release for the new album.

"... Shortly after the lockdown started I began to record songs in the garage to be posted on social media as a way of getting ‘round the restrictions… Dreaming was the first song I wrote for Slow Dawn so it has been with me longest," Seymour said.

"Cameron McKenzie, guitarist from the Undertow, suggested we record the rest of the band remotely and present the song as multi-screen. As it happens there are several more songs in the pipeline but in the meantime Dreaming seems to resonate loudly given the circumstances.

"It feels a bit like a flagship choice given its soulful story and the sense of calm it suggests in these dark times... "
