Following its release earlier this year, Aussie indie rockers Lost Goat Found have today debuted the music video for Open Invitation, which is premiering right here on theMusic.com.au.

Filmed in various locations around their hometown of Brisbane, the four-piece say the clip was a perfect opportunity for frontman Morgan Francis "to live out his Joaquin Phoenix Joker fantasy on screen".

"Originally we planned to do a super cheap, super quick video in a weekend but we got a little carried away," Lost Goat Found told The Music.

"With the help of our friend Dan Hodgson, the idea grew and we called in more and more favours until it ended up being a few day shoot with lots of fancy lights and cameras and long nights making sure it was close to perfect.

"We knew we wanted a romantic relationship at the heart of the video, but didn’t want it to be just another ‘boy-meets-girl-at-a-party-in-a-Queenslander’ video. The song itself has a broader sound than our previous stuff and we wanted the lighting and general aesthetic to match the richer tones."

Lost Goat Found will perform a sold out show at The Brightside in Brisbane next month. Check out theGuide for more details.
