More Kingswood More Kingswood

Just days after its release, Aussie heavyweights Kingswood have unveiled the music video for Bittersweet, premiering on theMusic.com.au today!

Inspired by "the love story of one of our dearest friends", the Bittersweet clip continues to explore the theme of love.

"The premise behind the Bittersweet video is derived from the idea of how overwhelming truly loving someone can be," Kingswood told The Music.

"The most beautiful of prisons or an addictive loop de loop that is seemingly on repeat - the video reflects this in its construct, a paradise of music and expression yet claustrophobic and enclosed. There is no escape and nothing to do but acclimatise to this new and romantically dystopian cube."

The video is directed and edited by Kyle Caulfield who the band say turned in a "masterful" clip.

"Kyle wanted to capture the psychological elements from frenetic to cathartic, evident in the transition during the bridge where we see [vocalist] Fergus Linacre blossom into his new found acceptance."
