VIDEO PREMIERE: Jamie McDell Feat. Kasey Chambers - 'Tori'

It's all pastel colours and bright white lights in New Zealand singer Jamie McDell's darling new video for her latest single Tori, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.

The vibrant colours soften the blow felt from the underlying drama present in the clip as a happy couple struggle through tumultuous times.

"I was reflecting on an old love of my partners and the lyrics and melody started to flow," McDell said.

"I admit I was nervous to release something so factual but I’ve never been one to go back and edit my music once I’ve completed a song so it is what it is!"

Awash in dabbled light, the cut is brushed with nostalgia as the audience follows McDell around the historic Whatipu Lodge in Aukland's southwestern bush.

The track has a strong Aussie connection, featuring vocals from local legend Kasey Chambers and recorded by her brother Nash Chambers in a Nashville studio. 

The tune is taken from the singer's upcoming album Extraordinary Girl which is slated for release on 4 May with Australian tour plans expected to drop in the coming months.
