"It’s a song for anyone who has loved hard and lost, but been willing to try again."

Sydney-based soul musician Jade MacRae returns today with a huge live rendition of her latest single, My Father's House, and we here at theMusic.com.au are stoked to bring you the exclusive premiere.

Showcasing MacRae's epic vocals, the video was recorded at Sydney's Free Energy Devices. The stripped back version sees MacRae playing an "incredible and very rare Wurlitzer 270 model electric piano" alongside Carl Dewhurst on guitar.

My Father's House speaks of love and family," MacRae told The Music

"Giving full access to a new love and allowing yourself to be completely vulnerable. Letting them into the inner most parts of your life, and inviting them to step into your family. It’s a song for anyone who has loved hard and lost, but been willing to try again. It’s a song of hope and fragility, and gets down to core values of what matters most - your character, your heart, your word.”
