PREMIERE: Jackets – ‘GLXY’

Newcastle MC Jackets had a clear vision in mind for his latest music, teaming up with filmmaker James Miller to paint a vivid musical representation of single GLXY.

The pair immediately agreed that purples and blues would drive the narrative.

“The intro and outro scenes of the video were my idea, and I feel as though they really create a world or even universe that the viewer can just fall into but I also just really like the idea of a storyline, and especially for this song and its meaning,” Jackets told The Music.

“This video was created and shaped to not necessarily show you exactly what the song is about, but rather depict my interpretation or perspective of the song.   

“By having the song open to interpretation it really resonates with the listener and whatever their perceived meaning of the track is, whether it be falling in love, heartbreak or even the falling out of a best friend.”
