Ahead of the release of their debut EP Willing And Able later this week, Sydney trio Inklines have released a 'day in the life' music video for track Back To Me and it is premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au today.

Speaking about the track, guitarist and vocalist Will Tremain said that "this was one of those songs that wrote a lot of itself lyrically".

"I found myself stuck writing about the same subject a lot and there were a few lyrics in there originally that gave a much better indication of the point I was trying to get across, but I decided that I'd like to have a song that was a little more cryptic so people could take what they wanted from it," he reflected.

"This is also what ultimately led to the sort of happy vibe of the instrumental; to try and contrast the original intent behind the lyrics. Because of this contrast we were struggling for ideas for a video clip, we just couldn't think of any particular visual that married up with the vibe of the song.

"We teamed up with Matt Paxton again who was part of the team that made our first two music videos, and together we landed on the idea that just a bit of ‘a day in the life’ video clip would suit the vibe pretty well.”
