More Flickertail More Flickertail

Sydney’s “finest single malt rock’n’roll export” Flickertail have unveiled a pumping follow-up to their debut EP with new cut Right Behind The Eyes.

The new single, as frontman Liam Whelan told The Music, is “about whingers, negative people, who ultimately wind up sad and alone”.

“Our coat of arms has the emu on it because it can never take a step backwards,” he said.

“People are meant to be like that. You can’t move forward if you’re looking over your shoulder, and you can’t get rich looking in anyone else’s pockets. You at least have to reach in to take their wallet.”

Flickertail have a number of East Coast headline dates locked down in support of Right Behind The Eyes, all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
