The latest music video from Sydney alt-rockers Clouder takes viewers on a “meditative” journey.

The animated clip follows a spaceman on a voyage across time and space.

"The song is very meditative and sung in retrospect; it’s a reflective take on a part of my life that I often try to push aside,” vocalist Borna Crvelin told The Music.

“It’s an adventure through not being familiar with who, or where you are. Out of this concept, our adorable spaceman B. Long character was born. The animation follows one of B. Long’s adventures of contemplation, melancholy and chaos. The film clip aims to visually represent the feelings conveyed in the song.

“I really wanted to make songs that weren’t just about being sad, or the ‘sink tinnies aesthetic’ that some young rock bands take on and I feel I’ve found an estranged middle ground that no one likes talking about."

Clouder will play a hometown launch at Oxford Art Factory’s Gallery Bar next month; check out theGuide for all the details.
