VIDEO PREMIERE: Bobby Alu - 'Move'

Cruisy drum rhythms and charming ukulele pave the way for Bobby Alu’s latest music video.

The upbeat nature of feel-good Friday jam Move now has a kaleidoscopic visual accompaniment, with the multi-instrumentalist unleashing his trademark “tropic-cool croon” amid a flurry of bright colours.

“I feel like there are many parts that make up my personality, so I tried to go there in this clip,” Alu said.

“Putting on whatever hat is necessary is a big part of how I make music; I can be a drummer, bass player, guitarist, uke guy, singer or roadie - whatever the team needs. Sometimes I pick the wrong guy... but they all have their place."

After wrapping up duties as Xavier Rudd’s drummer last year, Alu has spent the first half of 2018 touring his music far and wide.

He will next embark on his own European tour, dropping his latest clip right before a massive 23-date overseas tour.
