WA emcee, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Fear went all out with his second single as a solo artist, enlisting some of the state’s best to feature on the track and help with its accompanying music video.

“I'm psyched to be able to finally share this one about,” Fear told The Music.

“POW! Negro, Kruger James and I had a whale writing this track. Fear seems, thematically, to have come about at a very appropriate moment in history. The lyrics reflect on fear: in the emotional abstract, in society, in politics, and in biology.

“This music video is the fruit of the long and laudable labours of man-with-plan Brendan Joel, and of his crew - Mark and David. Props and gratitude also go to the vid's fabulous dancer/choreographer, Jessica Fowles. I hope you dig it!”

After cutting his teeth with acclaimed Aussie hip hop/electronica powerhouse The Brow/Brow Horn Orchestra for several years, Ben Fear dropped his debut solo single Lotus last year to a wealth of praise.

Due to COVID-19, fans will have to wait a little longer before celebrating the release of Fear in a live music venue, but you can watch its music video above and follow/find Ben Fear via the below links.
